hunting apples

We went apple hunting yesterday. We brought a giant tote and filled it to the brim--until it was almost to heavy for K to carry. I love walking through an orchard. K and I talked about our own orchard one day. We ate lunch at the top of a tall hill with a view of the orchard and a nearby vineyard and in the distance mountains and a perfectly blue sky. All day we talked about the trees we want to have, and the land we want to have, and the animals we'll raise and the family we will make. 

One day.

Yesterday, we just picked apples from another family's trees. Then we made pie. 

That's good too.

we'll always have Paris

I have been to Paris twice and I only kind of like it. I love love that I found the same street art both trips! My first trip was Spring 2005 and most recently Winter 2010. Five years apart and it was still there. How fabulous.

My camera is in the shop. The iphone is just not as good.

 Little Cordelia turned one a few months ago. Does life get better than a day with babies and balloons? Also this little lady should be a baby model. A beautiful girl in a beautiful family.
