Little Cordelia turned one a few months ago. Does life get better than a day with babies and balloons? Also this little lady should be a baby model. A beautiful girl in a beautiful family. 

All the photos I want to edit are of us. Since my camera is out of commission I just go through old albums to see if there are any gems to edit and post. There aren't many but sometimes, like with this one, there is enough to make me smile and hit "publish." I wonder how many photos we've taken of us kissing--here, in Richmond, Williamsburg, the Woods, Hadrian's Wall, and London. Oh love, love, love.

I found an old disposable camera and the first seven photos were from our anniversary trip last year. We went to Williamsburg for a long weekend and because our anniversary is in January, and therefore freezing, we were had the whole place to ourselves. One night, there was a great documentary on Pixar on the television and we cooked dinner and split a bottle of wine and laughed ourselves silly on the hotel couch. A whole park of history and adventure and my favorite memory from that trip is watching tv and cuddling. Ridiculous. 

Nothing says Fourth of July like bbq, backyard pong, and Boyfriend in an American flag polo. 

Sometimes the simplest celebrations are the best.
